Academician Li Zhaoshen is an expert in digestive diseases. He has been engaged in the clinical research of digestive system drugs and instruments for a long time who insists on independent innovation and has achieved remarkable results.

Drug Clinical Research: Established national major new drug digestive system drugs GCP platform, and completed 39 clinical drug research projects, including 5 projects of domestic 1.1 innovative drugs, 5 projects of international multi-center drug clinical trials; the first one who established a evaluation method which combine with proton pump inhibitor pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics, and define that the proportion of CYP2C19 fast metabolites in China is about 10% of the total population.

Clinical research of medical devices: Successfully develop a remote-controlled capsule gastroscope system, and leading the  clinical research, proved that the accuracy of magnetic-controlled capsule endoscopy is 93.4% that compared with traditional gastroscope, which is expected to become a new method for gastric cancer screening. In recent years, Academician Li Zhaoshen has lead more than 40 clinical studies, and published a total of 87 clinical research SCI papers, the highest IF is 13.9. Li Zhaoshen is the first person who won the second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award and the He Liang He Li Technology Progress Award. Hosted more than 30 projects such as the National Science and Technology Support Program.
