Prof. Shukui Qin, Chief Physician, the member of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, Vice-President of Nanjing Bayi Hospital and Director of PLA Cancer Center, is a senior medical oncologist, focusing on the clinical practice and research in Gastro-intestinal cancers, especially on hepatobiliary cancers. He also acts as the doctoral supervisor of Nanjing University, Nanjing Medical University and Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine, the department director of the Internal Medicine Section and the member of the Degree Committee of Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine .

Prof. Qin holds a series of important positions in international and domestic academic organizations, including Council Member of Society of Immunotherapy of Cancer (SITC), Senior Council Member of Asia Clinical Oncology Society (ACOS) and Federation Asian of Clinical Oncology(FACO), Vice President of Chinese Society of Clinical Oncology (CSCO), Chair of Foundation of CSCO, Member of Tumor Standard Diagnosis and Treatment of Expert Board Committee of Chinese National Health Commission, Chairs of Liver Cancer Expert Group and Cancer Pain Control Expert Group of Chinese National Health Commission, Member of Anti-cancer Drugs Expert Advisory Committee of the State Drug Administration, Chair of Chinese National Oncologist Examination Board, Member of Oncology Society of Chinese Medical Association, Chair of Chinese Committee of Cancer Rehabilitation & Palliative Care(CRPC), Vice Director of the Oncology Society of PLA Medical Science Committee, Vice Director of the Oncology Society of Jiangsu Province Medical Association, Chair-elect of Jiangsu Province Anti-Cancer Association, etc. And he acts as the Editor-in-Chief of “Journal of Chinese Clinical Oncology” and the Deputy Editor of “Journal of Oncology and Hematology”and “Chinese Journal of Cell and Stem Cell”, the International Editor of “Oncologist” and Editor-in-Chief of “Oncologist”(Chinese version), the Editor of “Hepatic Oncology” and “Chinese Journal of Cancer Research” ,etc.

Up to now, Prof. Qin has participated in 254 international and domestic multi-center clinical trials, of which 95 trials have been led. As the main author, Prof. Qin has published more than 700 medical papers in peer reviewed journals, among which 160 SCI papers have been published in the famous journals such as Lancet, JAMA and JCO, etc. Prof. Qin has also published 76 academic works. Prof. Qin’s outstanding contributions to both academic and research fields were highly rewarded including more than 27 Chinese National and Provincial Scientific Awards and Chinese Government Special Talent Allowance.
