Wu Chun Fu, born in Yantai,Shangdong in Feb.1959. Professor of Pharmacology of Shenyang Pharmaceutical University.

He graduated from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Shenyang Pharmaceutical University in 1982 and has been working as a teacher of pharmacology since then. In 1985 - 1987, he studied in Mario Negri Institute for Pharmacological Research, Milan, Italy, as a visiting scholar majoring in neurochemical and neuropharmacological researches. In 2000, he got Ph.D in Pharmacology in Hokkaido University of Pharmacy in Japan. He was promoted to be a professor of pharmacology in 1994. In 1996-2000, he was vice-president and in 2000-2011 the President of Shenyang Pharmaceutical University. From 2011 to now, he serves as the Secretary of committee of Communist Party of China in Shenyang Pharmaceutical University. He was the responsible person of National platform of National Key Project for new drug innovation during the 11th  and 12th Five year plan, National 863 project, and key project of National Nature Science Foundation. He serves as a member of the General expert group of National Key Project for new drug innovation in the 12th and 13th Five year plan. He published more than 340 scientific papers in which more than 200 were cited by SCI. He also serves as Editor-in-Chief of Asian Journal of Traditional Medicines, and Editorial Board member of more than 10 scientific journals including International Immunopharmacology，Pharmacology Biochemistry and Behavior, and Acta Pharmacologica Sinica and so on. He has been the Vice President of Chinese Pharmaceutical Association since 2013, and  the supervisor of Chinese Pharmacological Society since 2017.
