Professor ZHU Xiaoxin Ph.D. is currently the vice director of Institute of Chinese Materia Medica, China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences(ICMM, CACMS). He is a Second Grade Professor and Supervisor for Ph. D. Candidate of China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences.  His professional nominations and invitations are mainly include a vice chairman of Beijing Pharmacological Society, a managing director of Chinese Pharmacological Society, a member of the 10、11th Chinese Pharmacopoeia Commission, a member of the Expert Group for Project Examination and Appraisal of Life Science Department of National Natural Science Foundation of China.  He was honored the title of “outstanding contributor” by Ministry of Health of the nation. He receives “special government allowance”, which is an official acknowledgement for those who made substantial contribution to science and technology.  He is a research leader of Key Subjects of Pharmacology and Theory of Chinese Materia Medica of State Administration of Chinese Traditional Medicine, P.R.C., as well as a research leader of the Subject of Pharmacology of Chinese Materia Medica of China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences.

Since recent years, he has focused his studies on Pharmacology (Cardiovascular Pharmacology), Pharmacokinetics and R & D Study of Chinese Materia Medica.  He has participated in 30 national key projects as principal researcher.  He has been granted 2 second awards of the Chinese Society of Traditional Chinese Medicine and 3 second awards of China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences as the first participator. His studies have resulted in more than 100 publications, 8 monographs,11 patent applications and 6 IP right
